  1. I got few bucks from iTunes from one title in my catalog and it was the one title that sells something almost every month. Nothing from my other titles but that's not too unusual. It did take a little edge off my doom and gloom attitude... but not much.

  6. right, so we had a sales report that looked pretty normal. At the moment I'm doing my level best in a diplomatic way to get the actual DD partner reports. I'm now up to about 14 emails back and forth trying to get to the bottom of the mis-entered information from iTunes UK that apparently was mis-entered twice, but as I say, waiting on confirmation. I did get sent a spread sheet of dd sales and reporting but it was nothing more than a spread sheet of the info available on our account on the website. I was hoping for day date and month, so far not. I'm not cracking up yet. But it's all becoming somewhat daft to say the least. Am I completely barking or is this all about trust, and trust being lost?

  7. We weren't exactly setting the world on fire, but we usually have at the very least some streams and we have had no sales reported at all.

The economy sucks so that may be it.

  8. To distill my feelings about the situation - I trust the people I'm communicating with at CD Baby, but I do not trust the programming/ tech system. The numbers seem wonky, and whatever be the root cause of that, with things like the actual calendar date no longer being available for digital partner sales and payments, it makes reference book-keeping a nightmare. Since one can't independently verify the accounting, then, it becomes more a matter of faith than of trust.

A rollback seemed to me the one solution that would make things concrete again - but, that is not happening. Now, it feels more like waiting for a miracle. Or, the Patrick Duffy syndrome - this month was just a dream...
