Does CD Baby Still Suck?

In one of my earliest polls, 48% of 20 or so voters selected "Yes!" when asked: "Does CD Baby suck or not?" That 48% was a clear majority when compared to all other possible answers

In my newest poll, you can see another clear majority has voted "Definitely!" to the question: "Does CD Baby still suck?"

Wow. . .does no one see any improvements? Post your comments here!

  1. I've been looking for a silver lining in this tech disaster that's impacting on all of us.

It could be that with new artists finding it too difficult to sign up and get their music on CD Baby, and existing artists leaving to try alternatives, maybe the site will shrink from 250,000 to something much smaller. Then, any artists still standing may have a shorter response time when they need fixes.

Will the music buyers stick around long enough, well, here's hoping!

  2. My real concern is the loss of customers. And yes there are too many releases on cdbaby. I would like someone to start a cdbaby style site with some quality control. With cdbaby a "artist" can fart into a microphone , burn a few cd's and be on cdbaby.

So what? As long as I SELL and get paid, I am not even aware of such. Neither are my customers.
